Venue rights

Learn how to add users and manage their rights in MeetingPackage

You can invite your colleagues to join and co-manage the properties with you. On the left side menu, choose “Venue Rights” to add users and manage what rights they have to your venue profile. In case you are managing multiple venues, first choose the correct venue from the drop-down and then click “Add New Moderator”

 

Fill in the name and email address of the person you want to invite to the platform. Then choose the rights you want this person to have in the system. When you click “Save Changes”, an email notification will be sent to the new user to accept the invitation and create a login password. Note: Only the Admin user of the venue can invite other users and manage their rights. You will recognise the venue admin from the round tab after the email address.

 

There are eight different types of permissions you can assign to a moderator:

  1. Supplier pending emails
  2. Customer pending emails
  3. Confirmed booking emails
  4. Edit venue
  5. Edit orders
  6. Edit calendar
  7. Payment
  8. Distribution

The email permissions control what kind of emails will you be receiving (see the help tool on the settings page for the detailed list).

The "edit venue" permission gives the most rights - moderators with this can access and modify content, access the Auto Cancellation page, the Instant Settings page, the Rates & Products page, the Statistics page, the Availability Change Message page, the Customers and Corporate codes page, the Booking Engine settings and the Safe Meetings page.

The "edit orders" right gives access to bookings and allows the moderator to confirm, cancel or edit them.

The "edit calendar" right gives moderators access to the Calendar.

The "payment" right allows moderators to edit the payment settings.

The "distribution" right gives access to the Channel Manager.

The moderator with Admin right can add or remove other moderators from the system. Admins don't necessarily have to have all rights, but every right has to be associated with at least one moderator.

 

If you want to change the Admin rights from yourself to another user, you can do so after the other user has accepted the invitation. You can then click the round tab for Venue Admin to this person.
