Q1 2024 Product Update

We've kicked off the year with significant updates: a new tool for passing leads, a new customer order management page, an eProposal page, and OSEM integration.

Summary

As we've moved from monthly to quarterly updates, you can expect to see some real goodies in the future 🎁 These are the significant updates we've launched during this year's first quarter:

  • Global Lead Passing (GLP). Sharing leads within your organisation just became a whole lot easier.
  • Supplier Order Management (Supplier OM). Manage all the booking details on this new page more efficiently than ever.
  • eProposal. Forget your Word documents and PDFs and start sending beautiful and interactive proposals that work on every device and convert.
  • Integration: Oracle OPERA Sales and Event Management (OSEM). Our pricing engine allows complete automation for enquiries or instant bookings without any manual operation.

We'd like to mention that some of the new features have been soft-launched. That means they're not available for everyone just yet. We encourage you to contact your customer success manager to learn more.

Global Lead Passing (GLP)

Larger organisations needing to share leads within their organisation will love our new feature, Global Lead Passing, or GLP, enabling a salesperson (or an RFP handler) to pass their leads to individual venues in minutes.

The GLP form allows you to add all the relevant lead details, including:

  • Opportunity details: Account and agency details, as well as commission percentage, salesperson and market segment
  • Meeting rooms, accommodation, food and beverage and equipment
  • Internal notes and attachments

After you've selected the recipient venues and passed the lead, you can track how the venues will work on the bookings and follow up when necessary. 

In addition, a separate Global parameters section allows you to configure all lead parameters used to track your lead funnel down to the smallest detail.

The recipient venues will work on the leads by checking their availability and sending a proposal to the customer or agency, which leads to our next major update, supplier order management.

Supplier Order Management

The new Supplier Order Management page makes managing all booking details a piece of cake. You'll be delighted to see the new page, especially if you compare it to the old one. You can, for example:

  • View and edit event and contact details
  • Assign an account, an agency, and their contacts
  • Add event content, such as meeting rooms, accommodation, as well as food and beverage – everything conveniently in one place.
  • Send a message to the customer
  • Store internal notes and attachments
  • See every change in a log

Once your proposal is ready, you can send it to the customer, which leads to the next feature, eProposal.

Your customer will receive a beautiful proposal with all the booking details. On this page, your customer can:

  • Update their contact and other details
  • Send messages to you
  • Accept or cancel the booking

This page looks beautiful on every device, whether on a big monitor or a phone. Say goodbye to your PDFs and start sending proposals that convert 📈

Integration with Oracle OPERA Sales and Event Management (OSEM)

Our fresh integration with Opera OSEM allows venues to take advantage of complete automation for enquiries and instant bookings using MeetingPackage pricing engine without any manual operation required.

Talking about integrations, we also released several bug fixes and improvements for our existing integrations with Event Temple, Infor, and Opera. In addition to these updates, we've also managed to squeeze in plenty of minor improvements and fixes.
