New instant booking settings page, improved export options for bookings and a sneak peek from our upcoming website – that's what November was about.

Summary

Christmas is right around the corner, and we're proud to provide you with updates to our instant booking settings and the booking export options. Also, adhering to our new habit of showing sneak peeks of what we're working on, we're going to share something about our upcoming website.

Instant booking settings

Remember when a couple of months back, we shared a sneak peek that we're working on revamping the instant booking settings page? Well, now we published the feature, and it's available for everyone. The instant booking configuration article goes deeper into the functionality, but here's what the page does in a nutshell:

  • Select any combination of rooms from any of the venues you have edits right to
  • Change the instant booking status
  • Adjust the minimum and maximum lead times and maximum delegate counts – all easily in one go!

And as if that is not enough, the page is built on top of our custom, accessible component library, which we expand daily. You can expect to see this new style on other pages soon.

Improved export options for bookings

This update is for all the data-crunching friends who export their booking data for further analysis. Listening to your feedback, we decided to add two more export options:

  • Invoicing details
  • Line items

This update ensures you have all the necessary data when you want to do your magic in your spreadsheet software. Go ahead and try it out and let us know what you think.

Improvements and bug fixes

A month won't go by we wouldn't spend some time fixing issues. To ensure an even better experience, we've done the following:

  • The error message for a missing seating order on the checkout page is now much clearer to the booker. No more frustration for the booker.
  • Our (grumpy) system hadn't been trained to understand emojis in the checkout comment field. From now on, our system handles them like a boss 😎
  • In some rare instances, a cookie consent modal prevented interaction with the content. Now the content is accessible again (and no cookies were harmed in the process).
  • Some customers had experienced sync issues with venue creation. We found the root cause and fixed it.

A new website

You know the drill: Your company grows so fast that your website and its content can't keep up with the pace. That's why we decided to redesign our website to explain better who we are and what we do. You can expect to see something early next year.

In the meantime, here's a tiny preview of the overall look and feel, which aligns with the new design direction of our service. We couldn't be more excited about this update! 🤩
