What a start for the new year: We launched our new brand and website. In addition, we redesigned the My venues and Instant settings pages, alongside other fixes and updates.
Summary
Suffice it to say that January was a big month for us. In addition to the new brand and website, we released an improved version of our instant settings and my venues pages. And as it has now become a habit, we will show another sneak peek, this time from instant booking settings for packages. Buckle up, as here we go again!
New brand
As you'll see, we have a fresh, new brand! We have a new logo, typography and colour palette at our disposal. We believe that the new brand will show better who we are and what we do, as we also renewed our website as part of the process. Please read our article about the renewal for details about the reasoning and process behind the scenes.
New website
We're proud to show you our new website, which went live in January! The new website will better explain what we do and features the new brand with shiny new visuals all over the site. Instead of trying to explain the site in words, go and experience it for yourself: https://meetingpackage.com.
Improved instant booking settings page
In November 2022, we launched a redesigned version of our instant booking settings page. While the update brought the page to a new standard, we wanted to continue improving the page after launch based on the feedback we got. We made it possible to view the values for each venue simultaneously while maintaining the possibility to edit values in bulk – from one or multiple venues in one go!
New My venues page
As part of our redesign efforts, we released a new version of the My venues page. The new page features our new accessible design system, making the view a pleasure to use for everyone. Enjoy!
Improvements and bug fixes
Although most of our efforts went into the brand renewal (you wouldn't believe how many places we needed to dig to replace the old brand and colours) and the features mentioned in this article, we managed to do other improvements and bug fixes worth mentioning:
- Some bookers saw the "Venues" menu item appear in the dashboard for a short while. The link didn't lead anywhere but wasn't supposed to be there, so we removed it.
- EventTemple integration: Getting real-time availability of function spaces and making definite bookings is now possible.
Sneak peek
This time, we'd like to lift the curtain and show that we're close to publishing a new feature: Instant booking settings for packages. We'll tell more about this in the coming updates, so stay tuned.
