Learn how to add information about your venue

Basic information

Once the new window opens, fill in/check all the basic information of your meeting venue, including: name, type of venue, star rating (only for hotel venues), currency, room rental and VAT percentage for meeting rooms. You can also mark the opening hours of your meeting facilities.

Please note, that setting business hours means guests will not be able to book meeting rooms before or after the dates here. For example, if you set the end time as 19:00, guests will see an automatic message saying: “This venue is not available for the selected duration”, in case their meeting would end later than 19:00.

If you would like flexibility with the incoming requests, you can leave this part empty.

 

 

Go to the next step by clicking “Next” or by clicking the next tab from the upper menu.

 

Location

Next, enter the venue name or address in the box and Google will give you a drop down menu of suggested locations. In case the correct venue address isn’t found in the drop down menu, you can manually enter the address by clicking “Enter address manually”. The interactive map will pinpoint your location and its surrounding area when a booker makes a search.

When the location is set, click “next”.

 

Save & Preview

When you click “next” on the location tab, you have created the basic profile for your venue on MeetingPackage.com. The system will now save the initial draft of your venue before moving on to the next step. Select “Proceed” to save the draft, and you can move to the next phase or continue later. NOTE: If you’re updating an existing venue profile, the pop up for creating the venue doesn’t appear as the venue already exists.

Do not click “Back to my venue list” if you still want to continue editing your venue.

 

Facilities

Here you can showcase all the amenities and services offered on your premises. You can also give the bookers a clear picture of your location, surrounding environment, and parking situation. Choose the amenities you have by ticking the box on the list. Different services are found when you click the headings.

 

You can save your progress by clicking the green square with the floppy disk icon at the bottom right corner. You can also preview your venue profile by clicking the blue square with the eye symbol. The preview will show the venue page which  the meeting bookers will see when they look at your venue profile.
