Channel Manager

The versatile Channel Manager feature gives a venue the ability to control prices and content visibility on different distribution channels under the MeetingPackage GDS.

Access the Channel Manager

  • Go to the side menu and click Channel Manager.

  • You'll arrive at the landing page with two tabs: Venue view and Channel view.


Venue View Overview

The Venue view tab lets you manage distribution settings for one or more venues.

Actions:

  • Use the dropdown to select the venue(s) you want to configure.

  • A table will display all available channels for the selected venue(s), showing:

    • Prices for meeting rooms, packages, and catalogue items

    • Payment Options (Pay on-site or Credit Card via Stripe)

    • Visibility (Visible / Not Visible / Pending)

💡 Tip: By default, all prices match your base prices from the Rates & Products section. Payment is set to "Pay later" unless changed to credit card (requires Stripe integration).

Click Edit next to a channel to open configuration options for that specific venue:

  • Adjust pricing and apply a percentage increase or discount for Room, Package, and Catalog prices. Use + for an increase and - for a discount.

  • Set a different payment type if Stripe is integrated.

  • Use the Visibility toggle to show or hide the venue from that channel.

You can also batch edit settings for multiple venues at once.


Channel View Overview

The Channel view tab allows you to manage one distribution channel at a time for one or more venues.

Actions:

  • Select a channel.

  • View and configure pricing and visibility for all associated venues.

  • Click Edit for a specific venue, or select multiple venues to open the bulk edit modal.

The configuration logic is the same as the Venue view.


Licences and Permissions

To access and use the Channel Manager, two elements must be in place:

1. Distribution Permission

  • Granted by default to Venue Administrators.

  • Allows access to Channel Manager, control over pricing and visibility, and all other configuration options.

  • Admins can grant/revoke this permission for other users.

2. Professional Distribution Licence

  • Required to view and modify channel configurations.

  • Without this licence, users will only see a list of available channels with no editing rights.

  • The licence can be requested through your Key Account Manager.



 

By using the Channel Manager, you can ensure accurate pricing, control venue visibility per channel, and offer flexible payment methods tailored to your business setup.
