In April, we were full-on preparing for a significant update and yet managed to release some new features alongside the usual bug fixes.

- Adding a discount code directly to a booking engine URL is now possible.
- An account number is automatically added to orders with a corresponding company name.
- To simplify accounting, you can now set a booking payment status to paid or unpaid.

Direct URL discount code
From now on, you can offer discounts or run campaigns with a direct link to your booking engine. Follow these three simple steps to get started:
- Create a discount code on our platform
- Embed the code to your booking engine URL
- Share the link with your customer
That's it! When the customer uses the link to make a booking, your discount code will be applied automatically. Convenient!
Account number automation
It might become tedious to match bookings and accounts. That's why we did our magic, and now the company name will be matched with an account number (if the company exists). If the company doesn't exist, the user is assigned a new account number.
Payment status indicator
In our quest to simplify the way bookings are handled, we built a new feature to add a booking payment status to a booking. This should become handy when trying to keep track of what orders have already been paid.
Updated booking download options
The data-curious users will be delighted to see what our new download options offer:
- Select multiple venues
- Select by order status
- Select by service category
For example, to delight your master chef, select the current day, your venue, F&B as the category, the desired columns and voilá, you have a complete daily requirement list to hand over. Isn't that convenient?
Bug fixes and improvements
Another month, another set of bug fixes:
- Our Excel export wasn't able to handle bookings with multiple events. Fortunately, we caught this issue in our development environment, so no one was affected. Phew.
- We fixed a bug where we showed an error message about a wrong discount code even though the discount code was correct.
- We improved the stability of our PMS settings section by rewriting the underlying logic. Expect smooth sailing.
