Learn how to add packages to your venue
You can also add package prices or Day Delegate Rates to the system and determine what they include. The system provides four different types of meeting packages and the rates are shown to the clients based on how long their meeting is:
- Half Day Package: meeting for up to 5 hours.
- Full Day package: meeting for up to 10 hours.
- Overnight Package: 24 h meeting that includes one full meeting day and accommodation.
- Two Day Package: 36 hour meeting that includes two full day meetings on consecutive days and accommodation.
On the Packages tab, add packages by clicking the package button for the type of package you want to create. You can then name the packages with a name of your choosing.
Enter the price per person for each package. Remember to enter the prices both excluding and including VAT. You can also add seasonal prices for the packages the same way as for the meeting rooms.
To specify what is included in the package, click “Edit” on the Package includes column. You can then click the boxes for the services that are included in the package price. Click OK when you’re ready
Next, determine the minimum and maximum number of delegates for this package. If a client wants to book a package for a smaller group than what is set as the minimum delegate amount, the client will be notified that they will be charged based on the minimum requirement. You can also create different packages for different rooms. By clicking “Edit” on the Applicable Rooms tab, you can determine which rooms this package is applicable in.
