Add meeting rooms to venue profile

Learn how to add meeting rooms to your venue

Create new meeting rooms on the “Rooms”  tab  by clicking the “plus” symbol. You will get a new row for each meeting room where you can fill in the room information. First, enter the names of your meeting rooms.

 

 

You can setup the minimum and maximum number of delegates, layouts, rooms description, equipment and other settings under this tab. Please note that the meeting room prices are set under the Rates & Products option. Under Layout and Measurement, you can enter the height, length, width and total meeting space area. Click “edit”  to open the measurements box.

 

Under Seating Order, there is a list of different room setups. Click “Edit” on the seating order column to enter the number of delegates for cocktail, U-shape, boardroom, theatre, classroom, banquet or cabaret for each meeting room. This helps the clients to determine if the room is suitable for their needs. If some of the seating orders are not available in that room, you can leave it blank. This way the client will see that this seating order isn’t possible for that room. When you are ready, close the setup window by clicking “OK”.

 

Next, you can add photos for your meeting room. The procedure of adding photos is the same as in adding photos for venues as shown in the previous section. Click “Edit” in the “Photos” column to open the window for uploading pictures.

 

In addition to the pictures, you can add a compelling description of the meeting room. Add the description by clicking “edit” on the Description column. When you’re ready, close the description window by clicking OK.

 

You can show the clients what meeting equipment are  included in the Room Hire and what they can rent for an additional fee. Click “Edit” on the Equipment column and click the boxes for the equipment. The left column shows the equipment included in the room hire and the right side one is for those that you charge an extra fee for. Scroll down the window to see all equipment and close the window by clicking OK when ready.
